Rebecca Magnuson
Registered Dietitian Nutritionist

Rebecca Magnuson is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, certified by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, at Ascend Chicago. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition, with a concentration in Dietetics, at the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She completed her Dietetic Internship through the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities in affiliation with The Emily Program with a focus in eating disorder treatment.

Rebecca was a student volunteer at Ascend in both Chicago and Champaign-Urbana while attending the University of Illinois and has now joined the team full time upon completion of her dietetic internship. Her interest in nutrition began at an early age and developed into a true passion. Joining the team at Ascend gives her an opportunity to share her knowledge of nutrition with several different populations, and work with clients of all ages. Rebecca takes an individualized approach when helping clients on their road to recovery.
