Elyse Rocco, PsyD
Elyse Rocco, PsyD, received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at Michigan State University and completed her Master’s and Doctoral Degrees in Clinical Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Rocco completed her internship at Pace University Counseling Center in New York City and postdoctoral fellowship at University of Chicago’s Student Counseling Service. In addition to working with college and graduate students, Dr. Rocco has experience in a therapeutic day school setting, where she worked with children and adolescents, as well as a private practice where she completed training focused on psychological testing. Dr. Rocco draws upon psychodynamic, feminist, and cognitive behavioral approaches to inform her practice. She strives provide a warm, safe therapeutic environment while also helping clients to develop insight around how past experiences may be impacting current symptoms.
At ASCENDchc, Dr. Rocco provides individual psychotherapy and facilitates Intensive Outpatient Services. She specializes in anxiety, depression, identity concerns, relationships, and eating disorders.
